Feifei and Hu Xia are growing the number of volunteers in Pultusk.

Dear all,

It is with pleasure I announce you the arrival of two new volunteers from China in Centrum Miedzynarodowej Wymany Mlodziezy i Wolontariatu.

They introduce themselves :

"Hello everyone! My name is Hu Xia. It’s really happy to introduce myself. I am a new volunteer here and will stay in Pultusk for two months. I am a university student from China and this is my first time to Poland. I like reading, movies, travelling, jogging, etc. I love delicious food and started to learn cooking. Maybe someday I can cook Chinese food for your guys and present you more about Chinese culture :) I am looking forward to the volunteer life in Pultusk in the next few months, which will be a great experience for me.
 Hope to see you soon! :)"

"Hello everyone. I’m so glade to be here to introduce myself to you. My name is Li Feifei., I’m a 23-year-old girl from Beijing of China, and I’m a graduate student in politics and economy. So interested in polish economy, politics and culture that I have learned lots of its history and read many books introducing Poland.

In my opinion, health is so important to us, so I like exercise, such as running, swimming, playing badminton and so on. Besides, finding delicious foods and eating them is also my favorite,because I’m almost hungry all the time.So polish delicious foods, I’m coming.

And it’s my great pleasure to introduce China to you, the history, traditions, culture, movie, food and whatever else you are interested in. Hope I can do helpful things as many as possible for Pultusk."

Armenian afternoon in Pultusk!

Dear All,

Centrum Miedzynarodowej Wymiany Mlodziezy i Wolontariatu always try to organize the interseting cultural events for you.

With the help of foreigner volunteers, the association can propose you to discover different cultures.

Not long ago, Lusine and Gayane, two Arnenian volunteers, who are doing an EVS in Warszawa, prosoped us to discover their country.

Pictures, armenian movies and dances, map, history, traditions, alphabet... during three hours the participants were able to discover Armenia.

Like each event that we organise, tasting traditional cuisine has been proposed.

Traditional coffee and cake "Gata" have delighted the taste buds of participants!

Before the Lent, Centrum Miedzynarodowej Wymiany Mlodziezy i Wolontariatu organised a Carnival Day!

Dear All,

Before the Lent's period, your favorite association, Centrum Miedzynarodowej Wymiany Mlodziezy i Wolontariatu, organised its Carnival Day.

With our and your favorite EVS volunteers in Warsaw from Columbia, Claudia, and from Spain, Cristina, we proposed you to discover how it looks like the Carnival in ours countries (Columbia, Spain and France).

As you can see, the Carnival in Barranquilla is time to smile!!

After our presentation of Carnival, we organised a quiz for the participants where they were able to win some surprises from the association.

We also cooked for them the typical food of our countries during the Carnival period.

After the cultural time and the food time, what were a successful for all participants and for us, arrived the time of manual activity... what will be the Carnival time without MASKS!!!

Our youngest participants are really applied!!

And we, yours hosts, also did this exercice!! Look!!

Winter Holidays in Swietlica... It's finish! :...(

During the winter holidays, Centrum Miedzynarodowej Wymiany i Wolontariatu, helping by 4 foreigner volunteers and 2 Polish volunteers, worked in Swietlica with 20 children aged between 6 and 12 years old.

You already know Claudia from Columbia but she was not alone, during one week Cristina from Spain helped us.

Who is Cristina? What she is doing in Poland? And what she thinks about her work in Swietlica? Asking her :

 "Hola me llamo Cristina tengo 24 años y vengo de España y estoy encantada de estar en Pultusk."

"From 7 of September I am leaving in Warszawa making my EVS project in a boarding school with kids that have complicated family situation and educational backwardness. My job with them is helping with the home works, making funny activities, having great moments".

"During this week I been working with children in Swietlica and it was a very good experience because of the children, the ladies in Swietlica and the company of my friends".

During this time, Cristina could introduced her country,

And could organized manual activity for children who could discovered one typical animal from Spain,

Uwaga, it's a Spanish crab attacks!!!

 

Also helping by Lusine, 22 years old who is doing an EVS in Warszawa in Stowarzyszenie Promocji Wolontariatu and Gayane, 26 years old who is doing an EVS in Centrum Rehabilitacji, Edukacji i Opieki "Helenow", from Armenia, the kids could learnt more about Armenian culture and language.

Claudia from Columbia works with children in Pultusk!!!

Hola a todos en Pultusk!!

My name is Claudia Patricia Chona, I am from Bogotá, Colombia. I am 21 years old. I have already 4 months living and working as a volunteer in Warsaw - Poland.

                                                          It's me! Claudia!!!

 I am working in Pomocna Dlon, is a foundation for 30 old people with cognitive disabilities. They are so sweet and they bring to me every day so many reasons to smile and don’t feel the big distance between me and my home. 

                                            During with my EVS work!!!

In Colombia I study Social Work in the National University, and I hope, with this magical experience grow up my career and all aspects in my life. (:

I have known so many beautiful places in Poland, like Poznan, Lodz, Torun, Czestochowa, and I planning to go now to Krakow, Wroclaw and Gdnask. And for now I am in Pultusk, sharing some time with the kids in the winter holidays in Swietlica! (: . We play new games, learn English and Spanish, we dance and we spend a really good time.

 I am meeting new people all the time and everybody put something in a page of my “life book”.

The most difficult thing to confront is the Polish language because it's so different than Spanish, and the weather. In my country we don’t have season, and we have all the year 12 hours day and 12 hours night, for me is so strange that for this days the sun goes so early and to be honest, after almost all winter and I don’t get used yet! (:

Now, I am so happy to be in Pultusk, for so many reasons, Poland has been like my second home, I already have learned so many new things, have overcome my fears, meet really good people and places that makes me try to give the best of myself. I am so sure that I am going to miss every aspect of this country, all the people that I have meet here, the people who help me and love me here. For sure, Poland is going to be a really important chapter on my “life book”.

On Friday, the first of February, I'm waiting for you, on ul. 3 Maja, 19, in Pultusk between 12 and 17 for the International Carnival Day!!!

International Voluntary Day in Pultusk.

Hey, hey,

The 5th of December was the International Voluntary Day... as in Pultusk we are in advance we organized on the 4th our own Voluntary Day...

Zespol Szkol im. Boleslawa Prusa invited us at the morning to speak about our association and their activities as volunteer. Thanks to them! :) It was a pleasure !

And Sylwia, who know her, was happy to present the activities of Centrum Miedzinarodowej Wymiany i Wolontariatu in Pultusk and SPW in Warsaw...

After this morning, which was a successful at school : look the students looks like happy !

We organized an "open-afternoon" to the office, ul.3 Maja, 19, Pultusk, for YOU ! To know more about voluntary service in different countries and to help you to be involve in volunteering (workcamps, EVS,... and so one!!)

Elena introduced them the topic and idea of voluteering in her own country, Germany, and Gosia spoke with them about her EVS in Greece...
